Dental Hygiene Research Guide: NBDHE Prep

Get Prepared for the NBDHE!

To start using StatPearls, follow these steps:

1. Go to StatPearls

2. Select Create a New Account, and be sure to create the account using your Ferris email address
3. Setup your Profile. For Career Status select Allied Health and for Select Specialty select National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE).
4. You're now ready to start using StatPearls NBDHE Review!

1. Be sure to login when you get to StatPearls. The default login will be for your User Dashboard and you can leave it at User Dashboard. 
2. In the center of the screen you'll see the various options: Latest Assignments, Question Bank. 
3. If you have an assigned quiz, it will display on the Latest Assignments center panel. Otherwise, scroll down to the Question Bank and Start Building a Quiz.
4. You can select Study mode or Test mode. In study mode you select the answers until you get the question correct, and then get an immediate overview. Test mode goes through each question like a regular test, and then you can select Quiz Transcript to see the details for each question, as well as further recommended reading.
5. StatPearls will track your performance on quizzes so you can view your progress. You can see your test performance at any time using the center Question Bank panel, or using the left-hand navigation, and under Question Banks selecting Performance.
