Some Starting Points

Make sure that a journal is worthy of your manuscript before you publish! Look at specific quality indicators, or see if the journal is found in the listings and database belows.

Search for the Journal / Publisher in these Vetted Listings of Journals / Publishers:

Try these Databases

  1. In Ulrich's, run a search by title, keyword, or subject

  2. Once you've run a search, you may want to use the following filters: Abstracted or Indexed; Refereed / Peer-reviewed (It's easy to spot these journals in an Ulrich's list - just look for the Referee's shirt) Ulrich's Referee Shirt that indicates Refereed journal
