ILLiad (Interlibrary Loan) at Ferris State University

Statewide students and faculty have access to ILLiad for both requesting materials from other libraries and requesting materials directly from FLITE to their home. If you would like a copy of an article located in our print journals, on microfilm or fiche, or a chapter of a book owned by FLITE, submit a request just as you would for ILL. We will make a scan of the article/chapter and deliver it to electronically. You have 30 days upon receipt of the digital files to download them from ILLiad. Once you have downloaded your requested files, they are yours to keep indefinitely.

If you would like a physical book from either FLITE's collection or from another library as available through ILLiad, you may place a request to have it delivered directly to your home. This service is only available for patrons within the Continental United States. Keep in mind that the items are first delivered to FLITE then shipped via FEDEX to your address which will result in a shorter check-out period. Make sure your address is kept up to date in ILLiad. FLITE covers the cost of shipping books to you, but you are responsible to pay for the return postage or make arrangements for someone to return them to campus.
