Rebecca Blakiston has been a faculty member at the University of Arizona Libraries since 2008, and a user experience librarian since 2014. She provides oversight, management, and strategic planning for the library website, specializing in user research, user-centered design, writing for the web, and content strategy. She manages a user experience team and provides leadership within a cross-departmental website steering group.
She has published two practical guides for librarians, Usability Testing and Writing Effectively in Print and On the Web. In 2016, she was named a Library Journal Mover & Shaker. In 2018, she was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Weave: Journal of Library User Experience.
