The Assistive Technologies Lab has been developed in conjunction with the Disabilities Services Office specifically to aid students and other library users with disabilities.
Equipment in the lab is located on height adjustable tables. In addition to the standard software, the Assistive Technologies Lab include assistive software, equipment and 21 inch monitors.
Equipment includes:
- Braille workstation
- MagniSight Explorer Station
- Specialized keyboards and mice
- Web-based screen reader software (Jaws, Kurzweil, etc.). *Please contact the Educational Counseling and Disabilities Services Office (ECDS) for instructions on accessing the software.
The Assistive Technologies Lab is located on the 1st floor of FLITE, in room 119. For access to the lab, a key may be obtained from the Checkout Desk.
