Libraries are networked

Libraries are connected to one another through loan agreements. What this means to you is that we can acquire articles that we do not own (usually) from other libraries. There is no cost to you to do this.

This interlibary loan (ILL) guide will provide you with answers to most questions you might have.

For those students who do not live in Michigan - you should contact your local librarian about interlibrary loan services for books. There may be state-wide agreements to share books, and receiving books through ILL at your local library is a much more practical solution to getting books that you need. Please use Ferris / FLITE for all ILL article requests, however!

Note: It is highly unlikely that we can get dissertations for you via interlibrary loan.
