Finding BooksOnline Catalog
For books in the circulating collection (Main Stacks), use the Online Catalog. Try Keyword searches to ascertain which Subject Headings are appropriate for your topic; you can click on Subject Headings from individual book records or redo the search as a Subject search.
To request specific titles not found in the Online Catalog, click on the MelCat icon and then on Get This For Me to request the book.
To look for primary source documents reprinted in books, try a Word Search, using your topic and the word "sources" as the search terms.
WorldCat
For a broader range of books, try WorldCat, a national library database. Try Subject searches using Subject Headings you've mined from the Ferris Online Catalog. Books in WorldCat that Ferris owns have a Ferris State University flag in the citation.
InterLibrary Loan
Use InterLibrary Loan to request books and articles not available at FLITE. Use ILLiad Logon box on the right to make and track InterLibrary Loan requests.
ILLiad does not use Ferris360 credentials!
